This is easily fixed as follows:
- Remove ‘cpanellogd:1′ from /etc/chkserv.d/chkservd.conf
- Delete /etc/chkserv.d/cpanellogd
- Delete /var/run/chkservd/cpanellogd
- touch /etc/cpanellogddisable
- Run /scripts/restartsrv_tailwatchd
